I’m a journalist and law student interested in human rights and the environment, especially in Latin America. I’m also a student editor at IntLawGrrls. Last summer, I was a legal trainee at the ECCHR in Berlin. Now I live on a sailboat.
While living in Colombia, Mexico, and Brazil, I’ve written for publications like the The Ecologist, Mexico Weekly, and Earth Island Journal on the work of NGOs, governments, and individuals helping at-risk youth and people living in poverty, exposing human rights violations, and combating deforestation and Amazon mega-projects. I’ve also done photography and Spanish-English translation for organizations like Amnesty International, Survival International, Ashoka, Awamaki, and Xingu Vivo.
